Sports Handicapping Experts

Picking the Best Handicappers Online

Sports handicappers are becoming more and more prevalent online. Every year there are hundreds of new handicappers listed or that create their own sites. How can you tell which ones are a scam and which ones are not?

There are many sports pick services out there that claim to have extraordinary results. Some claim to have winning percentages up into the 80-90% mark. The best advice to take is to run, quickly from services that claim that high of winners. A sports picking service typically only needs around 55-60% winning rate to make money and the good ones hover around the 60% mark.

Realdealpicks.com sports handicappers says to also make sure that handicappers be listed on third party handicapping monitor websites so that transparency is 100%. This also gives users the opportunity to report the scam services that are not legitimate.

Finding the right handicapper can be tough if you don't know what you're looking for. Stay close to the handicapping services that are 100% transparent through 3rd party monitor services, that way you know that the picks are what the services say they are.

McIlroy misses cut at Irish Open after even-par 2nd round (Yahoo Sports)

Early exits are becoming a habit for Rory McIlroy, especially in his home country. The 26-year-old Northern Ireland native failed to make the Irish Open cut for the third straight year Friday, shooting an even-par 71 that failed to make up for an 80 in the opening round. England's Tyrrell Hatton showed the field at Royal County Down that the seaside links course, bedeviled with unseasonably frigid gales and pelting showers, could be tamed.

The worst corruption crisis in soccer history stems from the governing body's decision to award Russia and Qatar the next two World Cup tournaments, FIFA President Sepp Blatter said Friday. Blatter spoke at the FIFA congress hours before the presidential election in which he is a seeking a fifth term. In 2010, Russia was chosen to host the 2018 World Cup and Qatar was awarded the 2022 tournament amid widespread allegations of wrongdoing.

4:30 a.m. EDT) Germany's Justice Minister is quoted as saying FIFA's decision to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups in Russia and Qatar can't stand if it turns out that votes were bought. Swiss authorities announced this week that they have opened a criminal probe into alleged wrongdoing by soccer officials during the 2010 vote for the hosting of those two World Cups. Justice Minister Heiko Maas told German daily Bild in an interview published Friday that ''the awarding of a World Cup shouldn't depend on who pays the highest bribes.'' Maas also said FIFA president Sepp Blatter is the wrong man to investigate alleged graft in his own organization.

Thursday's Sports In Brief (Yahoo Sports)

As defiant as ever, Sepp Blatter resisted calls to resign as FIFA president and deflected blame for the massive bribery and corruption scandal engulfing soccer's world governing body. The 79-year-old Blatter insisted he could restore trust in world soccer after a pair of corruption investigations brought ''shame and humiliation'' on his organization and the world's most popular sport.

Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard will not be suspended for Game 5 of the Western Conference finals against the Golden State Warriors after the NBA decided to uphold his flagrant 1 foul. NBA President of Basketball Operations Rod Thorn says in a statement Tuesday night that Howard was trying to free himself from Andrew Bogut when Howard ''recklessly hit him in the face with an open hand.'' Thorn says the contact was deemed unnecessary by game officials and the league doesn't ''see a reason to modify that call.'' Howard received a flagrant 1 foul early in the third quarter after throwing an elbow at Bogut's head after the Warriors center made contact with him.

Robert Griffin III was noticeably more relaxed when he reported for the Washington Redskins voluntary workouts. Maybe it has something to do with him being named Washington's starting quarterback, or that he became a father since the season ended. Griffin said Tuesday he was ''happy'' coach Jay Gruden named him the starter in February after announcing following the season finale that there would be competition at the position.
