IndyCar's Hinchcliffe awake, communicating, girlfriend says (Yahoo Sports)

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- James Hinchcliffe's girlfriend says the IndyCar driver was awake and communicating Tuesday morning, less than 24 hours after undergoing surgery on his left thigh.
